10:30am: Doors open
11:00am - 12:00pm: Public "Skate with the Greats" (on indoor and outdoor rinks) for all ticket holders
12:15pm - 12:30pm: Keynote Speaker Bill Hayes - US Navy Veteran & 9/11 Ground Zero Firefighter
12:30pm - 12:45pm: National Anthem (by Minnesota Wild anthem singer - John deCausmeaker) and ceremonial puck drop.
12:45pm - 2:30pm: Fighting For Freedom from Post-Traumatic Stress Charity Hockey Game (indoor rink)
2:30pm - 3:00pm: Medal Ceremony and pictures

Join Operation Healing Heroes Foundation (501C3 Nonprofit Organization), The Hendrickson Foundation, Verbero Hockey and the Minnesota Blue Ox Hockey Team (along with other supporting retired NHL Players, US Military Veterans and partnering companies) raise money to “Fight for Freedom” from Post Traumatic Stress for our veterans!

We have a moral obligation to take care of the men and women who have provided our FREEDOM! The proceeds from this charity hockey game will go directly to pay for the TREATMENT of Post Traumatic Stress in our veterans.

In 2021, about 75% of U.S. veteran and active duty military soldiers have stated they have experienced post-traumatic stress (PTS) as a result of their military service after 9/11/01. (Published March 10th, 2022 by John Elflein in Statista).

700,000 Vietnam veterans (almost 25% of those who served in the war) have had symptoms of PTS. (National Library of Medicine – October 2016)

500,000 U.S. troops who served in war over the past 13 years have been diagnosed with PTS. (National Library of Medicine – October 2016

Suicide (from PTS) takes more military lives than combat. (Published May 30th, 2022 – The Washington Post)

By 2030, the total Veteran suicides will be 23x higher than the number of post-9/11 combat deaths*. (*Stop Soldier Suicide.org) • Since 2001, more than 120,000 veterans have died by suicide*.(*StopSoldierSuicide.org)
